Robin and David are a study in contrasts – from my point of view anyway. Meeting them was calm, quiet order. Glasses and hair pulled back in serious and planning mode. Discussions were held, plans were made, order ensured. Both were lovely and hansome in equal measure – I was pleased to be included, to have passed muster.

Wedding day – last Saturday – a different couple. Still lovely, still dashing – even more so of course. But, a different couple to be sure.

Robin is all huge eyes, an elastic, goofy grin and endless sense of humor. She and her two bridesmaids were a movie-line quoting, belly laughing force of nature.

David is the kind of calm self-assurance that this photographer (a man probably twice his age) will never master; sad to say. The flask didn’t hurt either.

The only time they were both serious was when they were in each other’s arms…

And that is no joke.
