I am a photographer who specializes in wedding and portrait photography.
While I’m based around the Richmond and Chesterfield areas, my service areas extend as far south as Hampton Roads and the Tidewater area; I travel to the Outer Banks and Nags Head, North Carolina as well. I travel as far north as Fredericksburg and Washington, D.C. too. I’m available to travel anywhere to photograph your wedding event.
My images will tell you what kind of photographer I am better than any heartfelt preaching about my passion for the art. I have been photographing weddings and people for a long time (more than 16 years), and have seen many of the common mishaps that can occur; such as, bad lighting, broken straps, tears, and spills…. What that means is that I am relaxed and calm – and more importantly, it means you can relax (at least about the photography). I do not bring extra drama or any additional stress to your day – great photography does not have to mean great arrogance! My style is observational, sometimes stark and candid; to capture the genuine emotions of the moment and to provide you a lasting memory of those you love and invite to share the special times in your life with. I photograph my subjects in their environment in unpredictable ways, to juxtapose textures and positions and create something unique and unexpected. I’ve photographed couples and families throughout Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding area. I also do shoots in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville, DC, the Outer Banks and all those charming areas in between!
